Lists on the subject

The 7,65 × 25 mm Borchardt cartridge was developed by Hugo Borchardt for his new C93 self-loading pistol .

It can be seen as the prototype of modern pistol cartridges. The basic design was later used by Mauser , Mannlicher and Tokarew for the weapons they developed. Borchardt cartridges were made in both the USA and Germany. The German cartridges could only be distinguished by the lettering on the boxes.
