72 Batmanspor is a Turkish football club from the city of Batman .
history
72 Batmanspor was founded in 1986 and was called Batman Belediyespor before it was renamed . The club's greatest success so far is its participation in the TFF 1st Lig , in which they played two seasons. Then the club rose again from the TFF 2nd Lig . In the 2005/06 season 72 Batmanspor rose in the TFF 3rd Lig . In the 2009/10 season, the club changed its name to the current name 72 Batmanspor . The downward trend continued with the relegation to the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig in the 2010/11 season.
There were considerations to unite 72 Batmanspor with the more successful Batman Petrolspor club , but this idea was later discarded.
