The film shows the changes in Berlin's Potsdamer Platz over a period of ten years from 1990 to 2000 using time-lapse technology . It begins with the dismantling of the last border fortifications and shows the development of a whole new district, the Daimler Chrysler debis and Sony projects on Potsdamer Platz. The viewer receives completely new insights into processes and developments.

In 2002 the film attracted attention at the Berlinale for its unusual technology, its soundtrack and the way it documented urban development over a long period of time.
