A21 road ( English for road A21 ) is a 101 km long trunk road in England . It begins in Lewisham around 9 km southeast of central London and leads via the London suburb of Bromley to the M25 motorway ring , which is reached at junction 4. At junction 5, the motorway ring is left again and the A21 continues as a four-lane road in a south-easterly direction, bypassing Tonbridge to the west and Royal Tunbridge Wells to the east. From Kipping's Cross the road is mostly only two lanes. It leads over Flimwell and Robertsbridge to Hastings on the coast of the English Channel , where it ends.
