The ABC Hornet was a four-cylinder aircraft engine with a nominal output of 82 hp (60 kW), which was developed by the British engineer Granville Bradshaw in the late 1920s for use in small aircraft . The Hornet was basically a double Scorpion and was built by ABC Motors . Its first run took place in 1929.

In 1931 the engine was revised. Among other things, the crankcase , exhaust valves and pistons were made from the aluminum alloy Hiduminium .
