The Agrupación Deportiva Arganda is a Spanish football club from Arganda del Rey in the Autonomous Community of Madrid , Spain . The club was founded in 1964 and plays its home games in the Estadio Municipal de Arganda, which can seat 3000 spectators.
Club history
The association was founded on February 14, 1964 by Julian Vadillo and Juanjo Pozo. He spent the first seasons in the regional leagues of the autonomous community of Madrid and made it to the 1974/75 season for the first time promotion to the Tercera División , which at that time was still the third highest division in Spain. The club rose again after only one season. From the 1977/78 season you could again spend four seasons in the Tercera División. After the club was able to play two more seasons in the fourth division in the eighties, the club rose for a long time to the lower classes of the regional leagues. Only in the 2009/10 season succeeded as group winners of the Preferente again promotion to the Tercera División, but where the direct relegation took place. AD Arganda currently plays in the fifth class Preferente Madrid.
