AFDX
AFDX (for A vionics F ull D uple X Switched Ethernet ) is a possible implementation of the ARINC standard 664 . This standard describes a computer network and the associated protocol for communication between aircraft systems ( avionics ). It is based on Ethernet and supplements this with data rate control ( QoS ) and deterministic routing.
