Luggage tag AGP 3

The AGP 3 is a luggage trailer and was supplied to the Zugerland Verkehrsbetriebe (ZVB) by the manufacturers Gebrüder Moser + Cie and Ramseier & Jenzer + Cie, both in Bern .

history

Construction of the first wagons began in 1955. The body was built by Ramseier & Jenzer + Cie. In 1963 the ZVB had three trailers. These were used by Saurer 5 DUK buses on the mountain routes Zug - Ägeri (line 1) and Zug - Menzingen (line 2). From 1975/76 this was also used together with the eight orange FBW 91U EU4A buses until 1989. AGP 3 stands for trailer luggage payload 3 tons.

The trailers were either pulled directly from the Saurer buses or hung on the APE 4.80 passenger trailers , which were pulled by the Saurer 5 DUK or later by FBW buses. All AGP 3 have a trailer coupling, to which one-axle or two-axle luggage trailers could be mounted. The configuration with two luggage tags was rare and only possible if the bus wasn't pulling an APE 4.80 passenger tag. The ZVB was not allowed to pull more than two trailers with their buses.

Car number 73 is still there. It is located in the Zuger depot technology history .
