History and technical data

The FBW 91U EU4A is a left-hand drive bus type that was used by various regional bus / transport companies in Switzerland. The structure comes from the manufacturer Hess. The FBW 91U EU4A has a luggage compartment, this is located directly behind the rear exit door and has a partition wall with sliding door with glass panes. There are also seats in the luggage compartment.

The Zugerland Verkehrsbetriebe (ZVB) used these buses mainly on the Zug - Ägeri (line 1) and Zug - Menzingen (line 2) mountain routes .

The ZVB buses were also equipped with split spreaders in front of the rear wheels in order to achieve better grip when driving uphill in snow. This as pure buses, as buses with the APE 4.80 passenger trailer or with the APE 4.80 passenger trailer and the AGP 3 luggage trailer . These trailers were already used by the previous model, the Saurer 5 DUK . With the procurement in 1975, new APE 4.80 trailers were procured along with the orange buses in VST standard paintwork. A ZVB FBW 91U EU4A is in the Zuger depot technology history .
