AHICE
AHICE ( Art Historian Information from Central Europe ) is an internet platform with information about art historical events in Central Europe . 180 institutions (as of March 2010) in Poland , the Czech Republic , Hungary and Slovakia are participating in the project of the International Cultural Center ( Międzynarodowe Centrum Kultury ) in Krakow , which has been running since 2004 .
structure
The structure of AHICE is based on international cooperation between different institutions. After registering, they can publish brief information about exhibitions, conferences and publications on AHICE.
The Moravian Gallery in Brno , the Art History Institute at Komensky University in Bratislava and the Office for Cultural Heritage in Budapest are the respective coordinators in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. The International Cultural Center in Krakow also acts as a project sponsor and coordinator for Poland.
In 2009, 941 entries about exhibitions, conferences and publications were made in AHICE. AHICE is the only such project in Central Europe on an international level.
