Empirical and Church Practice

The book series Empiricism and Church Practice (short: EuKP) is edited by Karl-Wilhelm Dahm , Peter Höhmann and Dieter Becker (leading). The aim of the book series, founded in 2005, is to open up empirical approaches to theological-scientific and theological-practical subject areas. Above all, empirical approaches, which were primarily recorded and evaluated using the methods of empirical social research, should come into focus. The focus here is on placing empirical research in theology in front of a purely hermeneutic approach.
