The ALD Lease Finanz GmbH ( ALD LF ) is a manufacturer-independent leasing company in the automotive sector, based in Hamburg . It was founded in 2005. ALD LF is integrated into the Société Générale group and a member of the Federal Association of German Leasing Companies. The product portfolio includes vehicle leasing for private and commercial customers. ALD LF has a 51% stake in the voting capital of Bank Deutschesmotorgewerbe GmbH (BDK) and is the bank's leasing partner. ALD LF and BDK work in personal union. ALD Lease Finanz is a member of the Federal Association of German Leasing Companies .
history
The history of ALD LF goes back to 1968, when Dello Leasing GmbH & Co. was founded as Europe's first independent leasing company in the traditional Hamburg company Ernst DELLO GmbH & Co. KG . The activities of Dello Leasing GmbH and Co. were brought into Interleasing D GmbH in 1981 , which has been operating under the name ALD AutoLeasing D GmbH (ALD) since 1983 . In 1984 Deutsche Bank AG took a stake in ALD through GEFA Gesellschaft für Vertriebsfinanzierung mbH and in 1988 took over the majority of the shares.
The German Bank AG sold 2001 GEFA Group with ALD and BDK to the Societe Generale (SG). The Societe Generale decides to bundle the Autofinanzierungs- and car leasing business in Hamburg. As a result, GEFA transferred its shares in BDK to ALD in 2002.
The Société Générale separated the fleet business of ALD D from the retail and end customer business. In 2005, ALD LF GmbH was founded. It took over the leasing business for the motor vehicle dealers and their end customers and henceforth acts as the BDK leasing company, in which it holds 51% of the voting capital. The fleet business is managed by ALD D. The BDK continues to be responsible for the financing business.
Shareholder
ALD LF is a subsidiary of SG Effekten, Frankfurt am Main (100%) and belongs to the Société Générale group .
