The ANOG e. V. was an association for organic farming. ANOG means "Working Group on Natural Fruit and Horticulture".

history

After Demeter, when it was founded in 1962, the association was only the second cultivation association for organic agriculture and the first without ideological anchoring . In 2002 he was included in the Naturland Association.

meaning

ANOG never got beyond a marginal group status in the organic sector and last had 70 members who farmed 3000 ha. ANOG was mainly active in the field of fruit growing . Pioneering work in the field of organic viticulture led to membership of the Graf von Kanitz winery in 1968.
