ARP Backstage Pass is an anime television series from 2020, which belongs to the music franchise AR performers and tells about the virtual boy group of the same name and its members, Japanese idols . The series was created by Studio Dynamo Pictures and was also released worldwide via streaming.

content

The series tells about everyday life and the growing together of the boy group AR performers (ARP), whose four members all go to a renowned music school and were cast there. While the somewhat aloof Shinji comes from a wealthy family and has long unsuccessfully pursued the fame of his father, a well-known violinist, Rage and Daiya are poor and have long played in a small rock band. They were discovered by the producer of ARP and, because of their charisma, invited to the band and thus also to the music school, which they accepted because of the promised remuneration and the associated opportunities. The lively León last joined the group when the others had already become known by the name and were also admired by him. He has been enthusiastic about singing and dancing since early childhood and is gifted in them. He was discovered during his dances in the school yard and promoted to the group. A special feature of ARP is that the members compete against each other on the stage, whereby victory and defeat not only incite the members, but also give rise to new ideas and arrangements.
