AS (formerly Archeology of Switzerland ) is an archaeological journal . It is the newsletter of Archeology Switzerland (formerly the Swiss Society for Prehistory and Early History ).
The magazine is trilingual. It appears four times a year with an edition of around 3500 copies. Among other things, she reports on the latest discoveries, exhibitions and experimental archeology . Place of publication is Basel .
The first volume appeared in 1978. The title at that time was Archeology of Switzerland - Archeologie suisse - Archeologia svizzera . The current title has been used since 2001, initially with the old title as a subtitle. Since 2006 the subtitle has been Archeology Switzerland - Archeologie suisse - Archeologia svizzera according to the publisher .
