The AS Cotonou is a football club based in Cotonou , Benin. He plays his home games at the Stade Charles de Gaulle .

The club won the Benin Premier League in 1971 and was thus able to qualify for the CAF Champions League . There they failed in the first round of the ASFA Dakar . It should remain the only title for the club. The club has now been relegated to the Benin Second Division.
