The AT & L Railroad ( AAR reporting as mark: ATLT) is an American Short Line - Railway Company in Oklahoma . The company is based in Watonga and is owned by the Wheeler Brothers Grain Co. The company is named after the owner's grandsons.

The company operates the former Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad routes from El Reno via Geary to Watonga (64 kilometers) and from Geary to Bridgeport (15 kilometers). In addition, since 1998 it has been in possession of route usage rights for the state-owned Union Pacific Railroad route from El Reno to Oklahoma City .

The line, built in the 1880s, came to Rock Island in 1904. After their bankruptcy in 1980, the state of Oklahoma acquired the route from El Reno to Geary. This section was first operated by the North Central Oklahoma Railroad . In May 1985 the AT&L Railroad took over the operation of the line and at the same time acquired the section to Watonga. In July 1986, operations began on the Bridgeport section.

The most important transport goods are grain, fertilizers and agricultural consumer goods. The six locomotives of different types from EMD transport around 3,000 freight cars annually.
