The ATP tournament in Brasília (officially Brasilia Open ) is a former men's tennis tournament that was held once in the Brazilian capital in 1991 . The game was played outdoors on carpeted floors, which is rather unusual. The tournament was organized in early September; In the 1991 season, some tennis tournaments were held in Brazil around this time, in addition to the competition in Brasilia, the tournaments in Búzios , Guarujá and São Paulo . The tournament was part of the ATP World Series , the series of the ATP World Tour 250, and was played with a 48-man main draw .
