The ATSV Ober-Grafendorf was a Lower Austrian football club from the town of Ober-Grafendorf , which plays in the Lower Austria regional league .

The club was promoted to the Lower Austria regional league in the 2011/12 season and made it through to the Eastern Regionalliga in the following season . In 2006 the club won the Lower Austrian Football Cup , in which one was allowed to participate as a 2nd class champion in the Alpine Foreland (Lower Austria's lowest league). No other club has succeeded in this so far.

The club ceased active gaming on October 16, 2015 due to bankruptcy proceedings.

bankruptcy

The 2015/16 season started very badly for Ober-Grafendorf, many players left the club and the coaches quit in a row. Hardly any players came to the training sessions. The first matches went very badly, the opponents scored a row of goals, especially the bitter 14: 1 defeat against SV Langenrohr . The Langenrohrers scored the first goal after only 1 minute and at half time it was already 8: 0. László Langó was able to score the honorary goal for Ober-Grafendorfer after half-time. The club played one more game at home against SV Leobendorf , which ended 6-0 for the guests. On October 16, 2015, at around 1 p.m., the next match against SV Waidhofen / Thaya was canceled , as the game was finally stopped due to a bankruptcy petition. All games this season are rated as 0-0 with zero points due to sporting fairness.

The reason for the bankruptcy is outstanding payments of approximately 300,000 euros. The number of creditors is not known; 20 creditors are estimated. The reorganization process was initiated with a personal application, and an insolvency administrator is now in charge of the club. In November 2015 after the association was dissolved, the mayor of Ober-Grafendorf and former ATSV president re-founded the association FC Ober-Grafendorf (FCO).
