Aage A. Hansen-Löve

Aage Ansgar Hansen-Löve (* 1947 in Vienna ) is an Austrian Slavist and literary theorist.

biography

Hansen-Löve studied Slavic and Byzantine Studies in Vienna , Prague and Moscow . In 1978 he was at the University of Vienna with the monograph " The Russian formalism . Methodological reconstruction of his development from the principle of alienation ”. In 1984 he completed his habilitation there with the monograph “The Russian Symbolism . Diabolic and Mythopoetic Paradigmatic ”. From 1987 until his retirement in 2013 he held the chair for Slavic Philology at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. Hansen-Löve was the head of the DFG project "The System of Intermediality in Russian Modernism" from 1999–2003. From 2006–2012 he was a member and deputy spokesman of the DFG research group "Beginnings (in) the Modern Age" in the sub-project: "The Russian Neoprimitivism". Since 2015 he has been giving seminars at the Institute for Comparative Literature at the University of Vienna. He is co-founder, co-editor and editor of the magazine Wiener Slawistischer Almanach .
