history
The company was founded in 1988 by taking over the heating and air conditioning division of the John Zink Company. The subsidiary Aaon Coil Products, Inc. was founded in 1991 through the takeover of Coils Plus, Inc. based in Longview , Texas .
Products
Aaon designs and produces various systems for air conditioning. Systems are manufactured for installation on house roofs, as well as independent systems for use indoors. Condensers and refrigeration systems as well as air conditioners and dehumidifiers for swimming pools are also sold by Aaon.
