Aarne Salovaara

Aarne Salovaara ( Aarne Ihamo Salovaara , maiden name Arne Nylenius ; born February 25, 1887 in Kotka , † September 11, 1945 ibid) was a Finnish athlete and gymnast .

At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 , he was fourth in the javelin throw . In the javelin throw (free style) he did not make it into the top nine, in the discus throw he did not make it into the top eleven.

In gymnastics at the Games in London , he won the bronze medal in the team all-around match with the Finnish squad. In 1912 in Stockholm the team silver medal followed in free gymnastics.
