Aaron Treasure Trove

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Aaron Fundgrube is a disused mine in the Johanngeorgenstadt mountain area in the Saxon Ore Mountains .

location

At the front Rabenberg (Erzgebirge) , opposite Steinheidel , the Aaron treasure trove and gallery were muted, which in the 18th century was one of the six most important mines on the Rabenberg. It was run by a union and came to a standstill in the 19th century. The mouth of the tunnel was buried, so that today hardly any remains can be seen in the landscape of the Aaron colliery.

The mine also had a stamping mill, which was partly operated by Walts Gott with excess water .
