Abarbaree (mother of the Kallirrhoë)
Abarbarea ( Greek Ἀβαρβαρέη ) is a Tyrian nymph ( Naiad ) of Greek mythology . According to Nonnos , she is the mother of the Tyrian spring Kallirrhoë . Together with this and the naiad Drosera she became one of the three ancestors of the Tyrians after they were admired by Dionysus and hit by Eros' arrows. According to Wolf Wilhelm von Baudissin , Kallirrhoë and Drosera were inventions of the Nonnos.
