The Abbāsi town house ( Chāne-ye Abbāsi-hā ) is a large historical town house in the Iranian city of Kashan . It is located near the well-known Tabatabaei house in the historical district of Kashan and is now a museum.

The building, built in the late 18th century, is considered a good example of Kashan town house architecture. It has four inner courtyards with water basins to cool the air. Different areas of the house originally fulfilled different functions: there were only areas of the house reserved for guests and a separate area for the lady of the house.

The town house is artfully decorated: carvings adorn the walls, ornate domes with indirect incidence of light prevent the rooms from overheating.

The Abbāsi house has a secret escape route.

Other famous town houses of this type in Kashan are the Chane-ye Āmeri-hā , the Chane-ye Borudscherdi , the Chane-ye Tabatabayi and the Chane-ye Tādsch .
