Abdallah Isaaq Deerow

Abdallah Isaaq Deerow (born 1950 in Elgaras , † July 28, 2006 in Baidoa ) was a Somali politician . Until his violent death he was constitution minister of the transitional government of his country.

Shortly before his death, Deerow campaigned for a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Ali Mohammed Ghedi . Eighteen ministers had resigned in protest the day before Deerow's death because the interim government had failed to bring peace and stability to Somalia.

On July 28, Deerow was assassinated after praying on Friday in front of a mosque in Baidoa. As a result, there was unrest in the country's already heated situation.
