Abdiso bar Brika

Abdiso bar Brika (Ebedjesus; c Abdīšō c ) (* before 1291; † 1318 ) was Metropolitan of Nisibis and Armenia of the Assyrian Church of the East since 1291 at the latest .

He wrote commentaries on the Bible, pamphlets against heresies, and dogmatic and legal writings in Syrian . He also wrote texts in metrical form, including a catalog of writers, which is of fundamental importance for Syrian literary history.
