Abdoulaye Sékou Camara (born November 17, 1985 in Bamako , Mali , † July 27, 2013 ) was a Malian football player . The striker , who died at the age of 27, played in the first division in Mali, South Africa and Indonesia .

Athletic career

Camara began his career in his home country, where he played at JS Center Salif Keïta in the Première Division . In 2009 he moved to South Africa, where he first played a season with first division promoted Jomo Cosmos and then for a year with Santos Cape Town in the Premier Soccer League . In 2011 the offensive player moved to the top division of Indonesia, the Indonesia Super League , to PSAP Sigli . He came to Pelita Jaya FC within the league in 2013 via Persiwa Wamena .

In 2009 Camara played an international match for the Malian national team .

Camara collapsed while training for his Indonesian club in July 2013. Although he was taken to a nearby clinic, he died immediately. A heart attack was identified as the cause of death .
