Abdul Ghanie Ghaussy

Abdul Ghanie Ghaussy (born September 8, 1932 in Kabul ) is an Afghan economist.

Life

After receiving his doctorate on November 22, 1960 as Dr. rer. pole. in Hamburg and obtaining his teaching qualification ( Dr. habil. ) in 1964 at the University of Bern , he was initially a professor at the University of Kabul until 1972 . He later taught from 1977 to 1978 as a scientific advisor and professor of economics , from 1979 to 1980 as a professor of economics at the University of Hamburg and then until 1997 as a professor of economics, in particular economic policy, at the Helmut Schmidt University .

Abdul Ghanie Ghaussy was a co-signer of the Euro-critical manifesto The Monetary Policy Decisions of Maastricht: A Threat to Europe (1992).
