Abigor the Warlord

Abigor (also Abigar, Eligos or Eligor) is a high-ranking war demon of Christian demonology . It is mentioned, for example, in the Pseudomonarchia Daemonum by Johann Weyer (part of the writing De praestigiis daemonum , 1563), in the Ars Goetia (part of the Lemegeton Clavicula Salomonis , 17th century) and in the Dictionnaire Infernal by Jacques Albin Simon Collin de Plancy (1818 ) mentioned.

According to legend, he rides a winged beast that resembles a horse and appears as a soldier with a lance, scepter and flag or with a snake. He is often referred to as the Duke of Hell as he rules over 60 legions . He is not unjustified as the war demon. Mythology says that thanks to his great knowledge of war and his ability to foresee the future , he has already led his legions successfully through many wars. He also often gives advice on warfare to others .
