The agreement on the conservation of gorillas and their habitats (Agreement on the Conservation of Gorillas and Their Habitats) is a multilateral environmental agreement based on the Bonn Convention . It was signed on October 24, 2007 and came into force on June 1, 2008. The agreement is intended to protect all gorilla species.

The signatory states are the Central African Republic , Republic of the Congo , Nigeria , Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda . Gabon also joined the agreement after it came into force .

The original aim of the agreement was for all states with gorilla occurrences to participate in the agreement. According to the text of the agreement, these include Angola , Cameroon , Equatorial Guinea and Uganda in addition to the signatory states .
