Deposit stands for:

  • Inclusion bodies (English inclusion bodies ) in the interior of cells in the biochemistry and medicine
  • Plaques on the vessel walls or teeth in medicine
  • Sedimentation , the deposition of suspended matter or the accumulation of solid or liquid substances on vessel walls
  • the storage of goods for ripening; see also ripening (food)
