Abra de Lajas is a mountain pass on the Puna plateau in northwestern Argentina . The pass is located in the province of Jujuy on the border with the province of Salta at an altitude of 4,720 m. About 1.5 km southwest of the pass is the 4,920 m high Cerro Potrero mountain .
Head south-east to the Nazareno 1,500 m below . The route to Nazareno leads over the 4,720 m high Abra Fundición mountain pass .
