Abraham Danso

Abraham Ibrahim Danso (born October 2, 1968 in Camden Town , London ) is a Gambian - British painter , color and design artist .

Live and act

Abraham Danso spent his childhood in Banjul (Gambia), Lausanne and Zurich . In 1987 he continued his education in interior design at the new art school in Zurich for two years. In 1990 he obtained the federal professional diploma as a painter in Zurich. This was followed in the following years as a stage painter and kascheur at the Zurich Opera House and with Beat Humbel, a restorer and decorative painter in Zurich. From 2005 to 2011 Danso studied and obtained the title of Federal Diploma in Color Designer at the Higher Technical School for Color Design in Zurich.

During his studies he was already doing freelance commissioned work as a room and object designer, painter, color designer and visual artist. The color material of his works of art consists predominantly of self-made pigments such as mineral and semi-precious stone pigments or acrylic. His paintings represent abstract expressive image content.

Abraham Danso lives and works in Zurich.
