Abortion (metallurgy)

By stripping a metallurgical process is referred to, which is the recovery of silver from silver- lead passes. The prerequisite is a minimum content of the precious metal and the lower limit is assumed to be 0.02% silver as still economical. The lead is melted on a driving stove and oxidized with the aid of a fan. The black lead that is created is drained off and the residue is the silver. The technical term for this metal is Silberblick .
