Abu l-Asakir Jaish ibn Chumarawaih ibn Ahmad ibn Tulun ( Arabic أبو العساكر جيش بن خمارويه بن أحمد بن طولون, DMG Abū 'l-ʿAsākir Ǧaiš b. Ḫumārawaih b. Aḥmad b. Ṭūlūn ; † November 896 ) was the third ruler of the Tulunids in Egypt .

Abu l-Asakir succeeded his father Chumarawaih in February 896. At court, in the army and in the administration he favored heavily released slaves at the expense of the powerful army semirs. When he also had an uncle murdered, whom he viewed as a threat to his rule, he was overthrown and murdered by the army seminars in November 896. His brother Harun (896–904) became the new ruler .
