The Acção Democrática Independente (ADI) ( German Independent Democratic Action ) is a party on São Tomé and Príncipe , which has been represented in the Assembléia Nacional, the National Assembly of São Tomé and Príncipe , since it was founded by President Miguel Trovoada . With her party leader Patrice Trovoada, she also provides the government.
Spin-off
After disagreements with the party leader of the Acção Democrática Independente, President Fradique de Menezes left the party in 2001. His supporters of the ADI split off from the latter and founded the liberal party MDFM-PL under Menezes .
