Acairseid Mhor ( Gaelic for "Great Harbor") is a bay on the Scottish Hebridean island of Eriskay . It is located on the east coast in the southern part of the island and extends about 1.2 km into the land mass when coming from the east. At its narrowest point, it is less than 100 m wide. Here it forms an isthmus that almost separates the southern tip of the island. A little north of the isthmus on the west coast is the sandy Prince's Beach . The small settlement Na Pairceanan is located on the north coast of the bay . At her head is the 71 m high Beinn Cracabhaig .
