Accoules

Accoules is a neighborhood in the old town of Marseille . It is located north of the Old Port in the 2nd arrondissement and borders the Panier district . Until 1862, the district housed the former Marseille observatory , which was housed in the Jesuit house of Sainte-Croix on rue Montée des Accoules .
