Achim Zedler

Achim Zedler (* 1962 / 1963 ) is a former German basketball player .

career

In July 1979, Zedler took part with the German national cadet team in the  European championship for this age group in Damascus , Syria . He switched from TV Ibbenbüren to Bundesliga club MTV Giessen . He also played for TV Langen .

Professionally, he worked as an orthopedic doctor . At the Naturschutzbund Deutschland (Nabu), Zedler was chairman of the Gießen district association until 2017. For a total of 29 years, he volunteered at Nabu on committees and in board work.

In old age Zedler took part in basketball competitions, including winning the bronze medal at the 2017 World Cup with the German over 55s selection.
