Acta Crystallographica (Acta. Cryst) refers to a family of scientific peer review - journals on crystallography . They are published by the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr). For the first time in 1948 a magazine called Acta Crystallographica was published.

The Impact Factor of Acta Crystallographica Section A rose from 2,051 in 2008 to 49,926 in 2009 because in 2009 a single article was cited far above average. Since this article no longer contributes to the current impact factor, it has fallen sharply again (to 2.08 in 2011).
