Actress (band)
Actress was a German hardcore punk band from Wiesbaden, which was founded in 2005 and gave its last concert on January 16, 2010 in the Schlachthof Wiesbaden. During their active time, they toured large parts of Germany and the Benelux countries as well as Iceland in 2009.
style
The musical direction of Actress is assigned to Mathcore and Grindcore , her style was influenced by bands such as Botch , Converge and Ed Gein. The minimal line-up of guitar, bass and drums was always retained despite various changes in formation. In their lyrics, the band often referred to the intermediate states of dream and reality and the effects of insomnia and amnesia, which were dealt with in films such as Mulholland Drive , The Machinist or Oldboy .
