Adam (biblical city)

Adam (also Adama or Damia ) is a biblical place "near Zaretan" (Zaretan is about 5 km northwest of Adam) on the Jordan , in the northeastern part of the tribal area of Naftali . Adam is also often identified with the city of Tell ed-Damiyeh , which is located at the confluence of the Jabbok with the Jordan.
