The Johannessen Nunatakker are an isolated and ridge-like group of Nunatakkers in the East Antarctic Viktorialand . They extend over a length of 4 km and are located 24 km south of Mount Weihaupt at the southern end of the group of Outback Nunatakkers .
The United States Geological Survey mapped them based on their own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1970 after Karl R. Johannessen (1917-2007), meteorologist at McMurdo Station between 1967 and 1968.
