Mount Weihaupt is a 2285 m high mountain in the group of the Outback Nunatakker in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . The massive formation of non-iced rock rises 16 km east of Mount Bower in the eastern part of the mountain range. The Womochel Peaks are 3 km south of Mount Weihaupt .
A first mapping was carried out by an American team to explore the Victoria Land between 1959 and 1960. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 1964 after John George Weihaupt (1930-2014), seismologist and member of this team.
