Adele Sansone

Adele Sansone (* 1953 in Vienna ) is an Austrian author and illustrator for children and young people .

Life

Adele Sansone lives with her family in Tyrol in the municipality of Axams . She received various awards for her texts, including the Parole senza frontiere prize for her first children's book and the Styrian children's and youth literature prize for her youth novel "Hassan". "Hassan" was included in the list of recommended books for the Gustav Heinemann Peace Prize . The picture books Florian lets down time (text and illustration) and the Green Chick , which has been translated into several languages , also received international awards. She is represented throughout Germany with readings and writing workshops and at various festivals, such as the Infantastica in Germany in 2005 and 2007 and the KIJUBU children's and youth book festival in St. Pölten in 2008 .
