The term adjective denotes the formation of an adjective from another class of words through derivation .

Examples

Fear ( noun ) → fearful
House (noun) → domestic
read ( verb ) → readable
there ( local adverb ) → there ↔ here (loc.-adv.) → here
Copernicus ( proper name ) → Copernican (e.g. Copernican worldview )
