Adjectivation
The term adjective denotes the formation of an adjective from another class of words through derivation .
Examples
- Fear ( noun ) → fearful
- House (noun) → domestic
- read ( verb ) → readable
- there ( local adverb ) → there ↔ here (loc.-adv.) → here
- Copernicus ( proper name ) → Copernican (e.g. Copernican worldview )
