Adjusters

The Adjusters are a band from Chicago , USA .

The band was founded in 1995 by a group of students from the University of Chicago around band leader Daraka Kenric. At the beginning the musical spectrum was fixed on Ska (“Ska with Soul”), over time, when the line-up of the band changed, the band began to mix reggae , soul , funk and jazz into the songs. The music played by the Adjusters has the following characteristics: Powerful voice, solid brass section and an intense backbeat.

The Adjusters have been a political band since their inception, which they expressed through several protest songs.
