The eagle cherry from Bärtschi , also known as Bronnerkirsche or Besigheimer Braune , is a brown variety of sweet cherries belonging to the cartilage cherries .

origin

The 'Eagle from Bärtschi' variety originated around 1814 in the Swiss plateau and was first distributed by the Bärtschi tree nursery in Lützelflüh in the Lake Thun region in the ( Bernese Oberland ).
