The Admiral Glacier is a glacier on the south coast of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It flows between Admiralen Peak in the south and Wegger Peak in the north in an easterly direction to Admiralty Bay , which it reaches south of Crépin Point and north of Lange Glacier .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it based on the name of Admiral Peak. Its namesake is the Admiralen , the first modern factory ship for whaling , which was in service in Admiralty Bay in 1906.
